Hello, hello, hello. My name is Michael Wanyoike, a software developer from Nairobi, Kenya.
This blog is a medium (no, not that Medium) for me to share my many interests with whichever unfortunate soul stumbles upon this site.
As a (primarily) back-end developer, I post about the new, the cool and the quirky in the world of software development. (It should be noted that, while it’s not my primary, my front-end work would probably be good enough for an emergency patch.)
Since I’m no one-trick pony, though, I also write about other subjects, which could be anything from my latest vinyl record purchase to my thoughts on a film or the book I’m currently reading, among other things.
If all this sounds like your jam, stick around. I post fairly regularly.
Now, to answer some other questions you might have:
You’re from Kenya, right? Are you any good at running?
Put me in a marathon and I will die. I’m more of an average-speed sprinter.Since you talk about a variety things, how can I tell what a post is about?
Most posts will be categorised, with each category (and sub-category) clearly indicated. Additionally, each post will have a brief description outlining its contents.
The above also apply if you’re subscribed to the Atom feed. How can I reach you?
Simplest option: Drop me an email.
You can also find me on GitHub, Stack Overflow or LinkedIn (though I’m nowehere near as active as I should be).
